GREEN COFFEE

Brazil is the world’s main producer and exporter of coffee, responsible for almost 40% of global production of the bean. The country is a global powerhouse, as the second largest player trades less than half the Brazilian volume.

The Arabica variety, indispensable to the best coffee blends served worldwide, is the Brazilian highlight: each year, its production volume is almost double that of the Robusta variety.

Brazilian coffee has been the main product in aa4b transactions since the beginning: over 80% of our business is generated by the purchase and sale of green coffee grown in Brazil.

We also have suppliers in other countries, like Colombia, India and Vietnam.

Apart from green coffee, we are also competent in supplying Brazilian black pepper, from the same region in which Robusta coffee (conilon) is mostly produced in Brazil: in the State of Espírito Santo.
Many of our suppliers of this variety of coffee also supply black pepper.
